Student Guidelines

  • Students are expected to maintain high standards in their general behaviour and manner of speech.
  • English is the medium of instruction at school. To maintain a suitable level of spoken and written English students are advised to speak in English in the school as well as outside the school.
  • Students should have deep respect and dedication to their work. Attentiveness in class and regularity in homework and any assigned work is of prime importance.
  • All assigned work should be regularly completed and submitted as decided by the teachers.
  • Students must bring the required books, stationery items(not fancy and too expensive )and student diary every day to school.
  • Personal hygiene and neatness are essential.
  • Boys: Hair must be neatly groomed, worn short. No fancy hair cut is allowed. Facial hair is not permitted; beard, moustache or side burns are not allowed.
  • Girls: Hair must be neatly groomed. Girls with hair below shoulder level must have ponytails with white buns. Girls with short hair should wear sandal colour hairband. Fancy haircuts are not permitted. Girls are allowed to wear small stud earrings only. Second earing stud is not permitted.
  • Boys and Girls : Finger nails must be clipped once a week. Finger rings, chains, bangles, anklets, wearing nail polish, hair colour, mehndi, are not permitted
  • Students of Grade 5 and above are allowed to wear watches( should not remove it till the school hours ends). Student are not allowed to wear smart / digital watches to school.
  • Students are prohibited to bring mobile phones, pen drives, CD, Ipad , Ipod or any electronics gadgets to school.
  • Prescribed school uniform is compulsory. It must be clean and ironed. Shoes must be polished. White Uniform to be worn on every Wednesday. All students must wear ID cards.
  • School timings should be strictly adhered to. Students must be in their respective classes at 8.55a.m.
  • The school does not accept responsibility for the loss of books, shoes, uniform etc. Each child is responsible for their personal belongings.
  • Parents are advised to label all the belongings of the child and not to allow their children to bring any valuables to school.
  • Students are permitted to wear decent casual dress on their Birthdays and on certain occasions announced by the school.
  • No student is allowed to leave the premises without prior written permission from the Vice Principal/Principal.
  • In case of medical emergencies, the Class Teacher/ Vice Principal may call the parents and ask them to take their ward home.
